Description

This junior runner has completed the portion of the race up the mountain and back down..is at the base now and heading for the finish line on the main street of Seward. We were told that the number on the pinney is where the person finished in their group the previous year. The fourth of July every year in Seward, Alaska many brave souls in three categories: juniors...boys and girls 5 to 18; ladies; men race up Mount Marathon and back down. It draws people from all over the place.
